As you can see 100 volts single phase in, but look at the next picture,  
That's 220 volt, 3 phase out !!

What you are looking at is the remote terminal connections 

You really have to be a hardware geek to appreciate this thing,
 but it is significant in its application.

Imagine a propane fired air roaster that could roast 10 pounds of coffee at a time
but only need a standard household 110 volt plug in to run using a horse and a half 3 phase motor.

With analog input you could control the roaster fan motor from a computer or temp controller.
This would give you variable batch sizes and on the fly ramp control.

Just so happens I have a fan to try it out on. To bad its not going to be a roaster.
