I have been working on a new base to go with the double length roast chamber glass for the Fresh Roast coffee roaster.
It seems that one of the things missing on all of the modded Fresh Roasts that I have looked at is a decent thermocouple setup.
So here is the latest incarnation of the custom built aluminum base setup for a thermocouple.

Right now I have exactly one of these, I will be getting more made a few at a time.

There is a total of an quarter inch to drill through on the base from where the bottom of the glass chamber sits
 to where the aluminum base touches the roaster so I used an eighth inch diameter thermocouple. 
A smaller hole could be used if you wanted to use a bead probe.

This setup will allow the use of a temp controller with the Fresh Roast coffee roaster.
The eighth inch thermocouple mounted in place will give a  much more reliable and consistent bean temp from roast to roast.
